About

An experienced Oklahoma Auctioneer and Rodeo Announcer.

I am a 1983 graduate of Reisch World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, IA in December of the same year. I began pursuing the auction business as soon as I returned home from auction school. In 1987, I moved to Oklahoma continuing my drive toward making a career of being an auctioneer. Today I sell 3 to 5 automobile auctions a week at dealers auto auctions in Houston and Dallas Texas, as well as operating my own auction business, and working as a contract auctioneer.

I was the 2013 and 2014 president of the Oklahoma State Auctioneers Association. From 2011 to 2023 I served as president of the Haskell Livestock Booster Club (my daughter’s school) and served as the contract personnel director of the Cowboys Regional Rodeo Association from 2013 to 2017. From May of 2018 to present I serve as President of the Cowboys Regional Rodeo Association. Speaking of rodeo, I have had a love of the lifestyle of the American Cowboy as well as a life long fan of rodeo. So, in 2006 I stepped into the profession of being a rodeo announcer. I announced various levels of rodeo and bull riding events in the early years of my announcing career. With my focus on the highest level of professionalism and performance, at whatever I am doing, I began to join various regional rodeo associations along the way being a member of about a half dozen or so yearly. In 2013 I pursued, and was accepted as a P.R.C.A.  Announcer.

Achieving the goals and milestones that I have in my professional career would not have been possible without the help from some fellow professionals like Spanky Assiter, Neal Davis, Gregg Pickens and Chad Nicholson, just to mention a few. My wife Sandra, a retired elementary school teacher, after teaching for 31 years, and I, have a daughter, Ashton, she was active in FFA and softball, and graduated from Haskell High School in 2014 and graduated from Conners State College in May of 2017 and entered the Rad. Tech program in July of 2017. Ashton married our son in law, Levi White, in March of 2019. Ashton graduated from the Rad. Tech program in May of 2019. In February of 2022 we welcomed our grandson, Statler to our family. Sandra, Ashton, Levi & Statler are active in the family auction business as well as helping with the duties I have as a rodeo announcer. On Sunday morning we attend St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Muskogee. Thanks for visiting our site and may GOD bless the trails you ride.
